To finalise the logo for ‘The Quality Unit’ we had a meeting were we each brought a design based on what we got from the first meeting. Knowing they had four areas they worked with meant I needed four colours in my design so then I could separate them in to the categories, using an arrow in the design and making the ‘Q’ – ‘Quality’ stand out. Here is the design I presented to them along with my peers.
During the meeting I found that my deign was not for them, even if they did like they thought it was a bit to busy for them. But the majority liked Beth Munro’s design the most but wanted changes, like adding in an arrow. After the meeting we took the information away and Beth developed her own design to suit the ‘TQU’ group. We then arranged another final meeting were me and Beth went together with Andy and showed them the design with different colours, different ways of displaying them in the individually categories and variations in font. In the end they chose the colours they preferred and we now know that the font will be Helvetica – ‘Quality‘ being in regular and ‘The & Unit’ in light because they wanted ‘Quality’ to be emphasize
